About Me, the Website, and Legal Stuff You Might Want to Read

Hey, that's meSimon Ong is a 20 something project designer for a prestigeous architectural firm. A Graduate of Architecture at Far Eastern University. One of the BEST schools offering architecture in the Philippines.

He’s been interested in architecture since high school, and took it seriously when he entered college. Simon’s been working as a freelancer during college days, using his knowledge in CAD to create, edit/revise construction drawings for individuals who seeks a CAD operator to do their job within a limited time.

His time revolves in work, family and his girlfriend, hobbies include designing (web and architecture), playing video games, sudoku (he’s an addict!) watching TV, or maybe grab the guitar and play, if he’s not working or not doing anything at all, expect him to be on his cellphone talking to his girlfriend  .

Web design became his hobby when he started learning about the Internet. He used to do things with tables, but when he was introduced to CSS, Simon got hooked on it and up to know it is still a learning process. For the past two years, he’s been using the power of XHTML/CSS to create websites and help others to learn CSS as well.

About The Site

Version 3 Layout
He started with a blog called “In A Different Perspective”, hosted under Blogger. This was his first attempt in web design and he literally suck at it :D . Simon then got a free hosting account at FH-Net, there he began to learn more about web design and started using WordPress as his primary blog software. After FH-Net shutted down, Simon got another free account on another web hosting company but later decided to get a paid hosing at Philhosting.net. From there he carried on his own name, Simon Ong. This is the third version of the website, which he decided to run fully using WordPress. It’s his first attempt to fully utilize the power of WordPress to work as a full blown CMS and not just a blogging software alone.

This layout (Version 3.1), was launched April 2008, updated (v3.1.1) on June 2008.
