Hi and welcome to the first Expect the Unexpected Blog (ETUBlog), where I say things I see and read about things around the world.
Today’s Topic: NBA Playoffs 2008
NBA Playoffs has been the most entertaining part of the entire season for me, because it’s the place where you will see who’s who in the world of American basketball.
With this year, a lot of stuff happened, some I’ve predict and some a surprise.
I am not a professional analyst, but I do have something to say about it.
Here are some of them:
Totally Expected:

KB24, MVP
Yes, I think I have to say it, Kobe deserves the MVP award… bite me. I am really not a KB24 fan, but hey he is still at the top of the SG position and led LA Lakers into the top spot at the West. Just don’t jump an Aston Martin if you want to live longer and win more game, and yeah, he’s no Michael Jordan.
“Big Three” Phenomena
Setting up a team with All-Stars Kevin Garnett (11), Paul Pierce (6) and Ray Allen (8) smells victory for me. And it’s been tested during this season where they finished an NBA-best team 66-16 record. So far the team had the worst test when they faced Atlanta Hawks, they still have to beat an 8th seeded team in 7 games. And they now face;
Totally Unexpected:

LBJ23, Mama James and Co.
I guess when people says LBJ23 is overrrated, a player says that you are a cry baby and you will see this photo, not a good sign. I expect them to be in the playoffs, just didn’t expect this “events” happening.
. But still LBJ23 and Co. is up for the challenge against Boston Celtics, where by far, a good matchup, and from a 3-2 advantage of Boston, games 6 & 7(if necessary), is going to make this series better than the ALT-BOS series. Just hope that with a long playoff for the Boston, if they do reach the Finals, they still have the energy to play the West.
NO Hornets

After the regular season ended, I became a CP3 fan! When I read an article about Chris Paul on ESPN.com, he reminded me of my college buddy who has the same attitude on court. And I guess that made CP3 one of the best (or THE best) PG on the League today.
Such a shame he didn’t won the MVP award (maybe because Kobe led the Lakers on the top spot a the end of the season, urgh!).
Other expected and unexpected moments as the post season continues… enjoy the playoffs!
