2012 became the busiest year for me since my college days. I only got a few days of doing nothing. No complaints whatsoever. Just a pure amount of joy and satisfaction on what transpired this year.
Just to summarized what triggered this year as one of the most memorable years for me.
I re-opened/re-branded this website.
Yes, this is my brainchild, a hobby that was once a thing I do back in college is now what you see here. This website has been a part of my life for more or less 7 years and it started as an emo blog (yes I was one back in college, don’t ask.) to my portfolio and now a full blown website where I show my work and some weird posts I call “thoughts”. This is also my gateway to the world with the hope that it can attract clients who wants to have their dream house designed/built the way they want to. So far it has been a treat working with individuals who believe in you and would like you to share your vision to them.
Speaking of which, it’s been a very productive year for me. We, at the office, managed to get a total of 11 projects this year, from 7 in 2011. My team grew from 8 to 18 members this year. Many have come and go this year, some expected others not. But still the team gave their best and that I truly appreciate. I pray we can deliver the same quality of work by 2013.
This year also marked the first time I went outside of Manila because of work, even if it’s for a short period of time. Still it counts.
On Personal Matters
There have been many ups and downs, but still we managed to pull it off. I still need to work harder than ever so I can give my family the best that they deserve. There’s no room for errors now that I am not getting any younger. As what my sister pointed out yesterday. Boo!
Last Words for 2012
As expected, the world didn’t end this year. So there’s no reason to slouch around and wait for everything to end. Need to push forward. Need to work and be more aggressive this coming year. I am looking forward to more projects for us to work on and maybe expand or venture deeper into the field of architecture and interior design.
But what I need this 2013 is a vacation, to reward myself with everything I’ve accomplished.
