I’ve been into sketching / drawing cartoon characters since I was in grade school, my dad taught me the basics and from there I just figured out everything by myself. I started sketching characters from american comic books, then eventually japanese anime landed on the shores of Philippine TV and that’s where I started sketching anime characters. I’m also into local comic book characters also, I did some sketches of it as well, my love for sketching disappeared sometime 2000, where I replaced it with architecture, but still I try to come up with new ones today.
