Brown-ish Grid Theme
Brown-ish Grid is a simple, grid-based layout made for WordPress and released for the public. Inspired by Subtraction’s Grid Design Concept, this theme was made to create a simple yet functional theme for WordPress.
FEATURES
Brown-ish Grid is already widget ready, so you can just drag and drop downloaded or built-in widgets on your sidebar. (NOTE: The sidebar is designed ONLY for built-in widgets like calendar, recent posts, recent comments, tag cloud and archives. Additional widgets from downloaded plug-in is not taken into consideration in the design.)
Brown-ish Grid theme complies with existing W3c web standards, making this theme web friendly and user friendly as well.
DESIGNER’S NOTE
This theme is not optimized to be viewed on Internet Explorer, meaning the layout will not be exactly the same when viewed on other browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari etc. but you can still see the contents and the design. I’ve placed a note for IE users (which is also viewed by IE users ONLY) stating this condition.
Since this is my first public release theme, I expect it not to be 100% bug-free. If in case certain bugs do appear, kindly notify me by email through song @ simonong dot net and I’ll do my best to help out.

QUESTIONS
How do I install Brown-ish Grid WordPress Theme?
Answer: After downloading the zip file. Unzip it and use an FTP (or use the upload feature of your control panel) and upload it to the wp-content/themes/ folder. Then log in to your WordPress and go to Presentation>Themes and click on the title of the theme to activate it.
Will you be willing to edit the sidebar for a particular plug-in widget?
Answer: NO. I make it a point to design a WordPress theme to cater to built-in widgets. If you want to add downloaded plug-in with widgets and style it to blend with the existing theme, read the release notes of the plug-in and see if there’s a reference to how to edit the sidebar widget
Why only 7 pages?
Answer: The 7 pages means the navigation bar on the header can only accommodate 7 page links including the HOME page. You can still add as many pages as you want, but it will ruin the navigation bar. (If you know how to edit using CSS, then you can do more than 7 pages, if not, leave it as is.)
